So far, I've created five projects within the SheCodes Syllabus. You can
see how they eveloved and became more advanved with each one. The first
one is at the bottom, the latest one is at the top.
So far, I have completed five SheCodes Workshops and have three more to
go. So come back later and check out what I will be coding in the
future.
The SheCodes Responsive workshop taught me to code with the comforts of bootstrap. This project was now built completely without bootstrap and I could improve my CSS skills.
What's your next travel destination? In this workshop, I created this responsive landing page that you are currently browsing. With this multi page website, it is more complex compared to the previous projects but it has no API or more JavaSCript than necessary to activate the burger menu.
See Landing PageWith the knowledge gained through the weather app, the world clock was a little easier to tackle. Using API again, I included several places all over the world and the option to check your local time by including a geolocator.
What's your local time? With the weather app, I first got in contact with API. It was quite challenging because I wanted to include content that was not all available with the first API I chose to use, so I had to include a second one. I created a connection between the local month and the image on the left side.
What's the weather like in your city? The add-on project is quite similar to the first coding workshop but you can see a small learning curve. I am an avid reader and chose my four favorite books of 2022. When you hover the cover, you can also read the books' summary (in German).
Check out my book recommendationsThis is my first encounter with coding: I created a small page about knitting where I included a picture, links and a small interaction with the visitor using javascript.
Check out the resultBy completing the SheCodes Workshops, I gained experience in working with the following tools and technologies.
Below, you can find the certificates for each SheCodes Workshop.
